Console (WebSocket)

The authenticated multiplexed WebSocket surface at /console/websocket for real-time programmatic access, where clients subscribe to live streams, issue commands such as items.create and items.watch, and receive stream events under per-connection rate, stream, and payload limits.

Overview

The console is Truestamp’s authenticated real-time WebSocket surface at /console/websocket, the surface behind the truestamp console command of the truestamp CLI. Over one multiplexed connection a client authenticates with an API key or an OAuth 2.1 bearer access token, subscribes to live streams of platform activity (block lifecycle, entropy observations, public-chain commitments, and its team’s items), and issues a small command set including items.create to submit an item and items.watch to follow one item’s lifecycle. Each connection is bounded by rate, stream-count, and payload-size limits, and fast event bursts are coalesced into summary pushes rather than flooding the client. The full contract, stream catalog, and wire format are in the console WebSocket concept; richer read and management operations belong to the JSON:API and GraphQL surfaces.
