Legal Documents
Directory of Truestamp's public legal documents - Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy, Terms of Service at /terms-of-service, Cookie Policy at /cookie-policy, and the Data Processing Addendum (DPA) at /dpa - with the one-line scope of each page and how to request a signable DPA copy.
Overview
Truestamp publishes four legal documents as pages on www.truestamp.com: the
Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, the Cookie Policy, and the Data Processing
Addendum (DPA). All four pages are public and require no sign-in. This concept is
a pointer directory only: it says which documents exist, where each one lives, and
what each covers in a sentence. The pages themselves are the authoritative,
binding text, and each page displays its own last-updated date; nothing here
restates or summarizes their terms. The Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and
Cookie Policy are linked from the site footer; the DPA page is linked from within
each of those three documents.
Where is the Privacy Policy?
At https://www.truestamp.com/privacy-policy.
It explains how Truestamp collects, uses, and protects personal information,
identifies Truestamp Inc. as the controller of personal data under the GDPR, the
UK GDPR, and equivalent laws, and names [email protected] as the contact
for any privacy matter.
Where are the Terms of Service?
At https://www.truestamp.com/terms-of-service. The Terms of Service are the usage agreement that governs use of Truestamp’s cryptographic timestamping platform and services.
Is there a Cookie Policy?
Yes, at https://www.truestamp.com/cookie-policy. It explains how the Truestamp website uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, and how they relate to the Privacy Policy.
Does Truestamp offer a Data Processing Addendum (DPA)?
Yes. The page at https://www.truestamp.com/dpa
describes when a business customer needs a DPA (broadly: when Truestamp processes
personal data as a processor on behalf of a customer acting as a controller) and
how to obtain the document itself. The current signable version is available on
request: email [email protected] from the email address associated with
your Truestamp account or organization, and Truestamp provides the document for
review and signature.
Who do I contact with a privacy or legal question?
[email protected] is the contact address published on both the Privacy
Policy and DPA pages for privacy matters, data-subject requests, and DPA
requests. For general product support and the security contact, see
getting support.
