Team

The unit of tenancy in Truestamp - every item belongs to exactly one team, every signed-in request is evaluated against your identity plus one active team, and team membership is what grants any visibility into a team's items and members.

Overview

A team is the unit of tenancy in Truestamp. Every item belongs to exactly one team, and every signed-in request is evaluated against your identity plus one active team, so membership is the gate for all reads and writes: you can see a team’s items and members only if you belong to it. Switching teams switches the whole working context (the items list, the members, the available features), and when no team is explicitly selected the active team resolves from your session selection, then your default-team preference, then your always-present personal team. What you may do inside a team comes from your team role; the limits that govern work done in the team come from the team billing owner’s plan. See scope and tenancy for teams for the full model and item ownership versus authorship for how items behave as membership changes.
